TLDR; I’m developing a personal finance strategy that will eventually get me to financial freedom. I’m going to share my strategy and thoughts with you as I develop it.
—

I’ve decided to take a serious look at my finances and develop a strategy around saving and investing. Currently, I don’t have such a strategy. I’ve always known that it’s important to save but the only method of saving that I’m sure of is putting money in a savings account. I dabble in other savings/investment vehicles—stocks, 401k, IRAs, ect.—but I don’t have a grasp on whether I’m making the right decisions.
The bottom line is that my financial picture is fuzzy. I have a good income from work and I have a good amount of savings. But I don’t want good anything. I want great. I want to financially thrive. I want money from my investments to bring income that is greater than my income from work. I want my choice to go into the office to truly be a choice. Most importantly, I want to effortlessly provide for my family, now and for generations to come.
I recently picked up a book that promises to help me achieve my financial goals — Money Master the Game by Tony Robbins (affiliate link). I’m going to read, investigate, and employ the strategies put forward in the book to bring clarity to my financial picture. I will no longer be unsure, confused, or frozen by fear in this area of my life
As I go through the book, build a strategy, and execute, I will take notes to share what I learn with you. I’d like you to accompany me on this journey. If you feel there are more people who may benefit from what I discover, feel free to send them a link to this page.
You have to expect things of yourself before you can do them
